The association in brief
Visit Tornio Haparanda Ry is an association promoting cross-border tourism, bringing together tourism operators in the Tornio and Haparanda region.
Our aim is to strengthen the attractiveness of the area, support local businesses and offer visitors an unforgettable experience at the crossroads of two cultures.

Together towards the future
Tornio-Haparanda is attracting more and more international tourists. In 2024, the region will see a 20% increase in overnight stays and a 29% increase in international visitors.
The year 2025 kicked off with the international Happy New Twice event, which attracted tourists from Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Italy and Asia. Hotels were sold out and the event brought widespread international visibility to the region.
