While people gathered for the cross-border letkajenkka world record attempt in Tornio-Haparanda, students from Lappia were also creating something huge of their own, a filled baguette over 100 meters long! 🤩
More than 80 baguettes were baked for the challenge, using over 100 kg of dough. A fun and memorable part of a day that brought people together in the best possible way. 🤍

A new world record in Tornio-Haparanda! 💃🌍🇫🇮🇸🇪
Today, something TRULY special happened on the border as a new cross-border letkajenkka world record was made together with 1060 dancers taking part! ✨
People of all ages joined the dance, from school students to local residents! 👏🏻
What makes this even more special is that the previous record was also made here in Tornio-Haparanda back in 1963. 🤍
A HUGE thank you to everyone who danced, organized, played music and helped make this moment possible. This is exactly what makes our border area so unique, people coming together across two countries to create memories like this. ✨
